ST. LAWRENCE, Pa. -

Police say social media helped them find an eyewitness to a crime and detectives say the alleged burglar could be connected to more cases across the county.

Police say 28 year-old Brandon Bitting stole two ATVs, a dirt bike, a flat screen TV and an expensive remote control car all from a home on North Bingaman Street in Saint Lawrence.

They say the theft happened on May 7.

And police say they were able to find Bitting after the owner of the ATVs posted a picture on Facebook.

His friend remembered driving by at the time of the burglary and was able to help police.

"I put together a photo lineup, showed our witness and without hesitation he picked out Mr. Bitting, 100 percent," said detective Deron Manndel.

Bitting is facing a list of charges including burglary and criminal trespassing.

Police are still trying to identify two other men who were with Bitting at the time of the theft.

They also believe Bitting is connected to another burglary in Exeter Township one that's still under investigation.
