Neighbors on edge after home invasion in Kenhorst

KENHORST, Pa. -

Three men stormed into a home in Berks County early Wednesday morning, terrorizing a woman and her two children, ages 5 and 7, inside, police said.

The home invasion happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of New Holland Road in Kenhorst.

The men burst through the back door of the home, with one of them holding a gun to the woman's head while the robbers gathered cash and electronic items, said police, adding that no one was physically harmed.

Police have no description of the robbers because they told the woman not to look at them, investigators said.

Anyone with information about the home invasion is asked to call Crime Alert Berks County at 877-373-9913 with their anonymous tip. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
