Allentown police say gunfire struck several cars following a fight at a nightclub early Sunday morning.
Police say it happened around 12:35 a.m. Sunday at the Catch 22 nightclub at Hamilton and Race streets.
There was a fight among several individuals prior to shots being fired, according to police.
No one was struck, but several vehicles were hit, police said.
Police are searching for the person or persons who fired the shots.
Police say a target of the shooting, 18-year-old Jerry Ortiz, was arrested when he attempted to leave the area in his vehicle, which police were examining for physical evidence. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
Assistant Police Chief Joe Hanna says this is not the first time gunfire has been exchanged at this nightclub.
"We have had numerous calls over the past couple of years there, and many of the calls involved gunfire," Hanna said.
