Police arrest suspect in two Easton home burglaries

EASTON, Pa. -

A 31-year-old Phillipsburg, N.J., resident has been charged with the burglary of two homes in Easton.

Joel Santana, who resides on S. Main St., in Phillipsburg, was arrested by Easton police  Monday morning.

He was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief for each of the two break-ins.

The defendant turned himself in Monday after investigations of the two burglaries resulted in his DNA being recovered and identified at both locations.

Santanas has been committed to Northampton County Prison. Bail was set at $20,000 cash for each set of charges.
