An internationally-known Poconos-based jazz artist has pleaded guilty to child abuse charges.

STROUDSBURG, Pa. -

An internationally known Poconos-based jazz artist has pleaded guilty to four counts of child abuse.

Jesse Green pleaded guilty Thursday to charges involving unlawful contact with a minor.

Officials say the 41-year-old Green, of Delaware Water Gap, sexually abused an underage girl for five years, starting when she was 12 years old. He started engaging her in sexual acts two years later, police said.

He has three children and has won numerous jazz awards.

His sentencing is set for May, when he could face three to 12 months in prison on each count, but his attorney says he could also receive probation.
