Police arrest woman accused of beating, stabbing man in Schuylkill County

Woman in custody for stabbing attack

PORTER TWP., Pa. -

Police in Schuylkill County have arrested a 30-year-old woman who allegedly beat and stabbed a man Saturday night.

Police said Lacey Sitlinger assaulted a 37-year-old Tower City man inside a van parked in the 1500 block of East Colliery Ave. in Porter Township around 7:30 p.m.

Sitlinger struck the man several times and cut him on the face and neck with a knife, according to police.

After the man was able to get out of the van, Sitlinger drove through a yard and fled onto Route 209, according to police.

She was taken into custody Monday.

Charges against Sitlinger include aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangering, harassment, criminal mischief, careless driving and trespass by motor vehicle.

After being arraigned, she was placed into Schuylill County Prison. Bail was set at $75,000.

The victim was flown to Hershey Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.
