Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following crash in Carbon County

A motorcyclist was flown to the hospital after his bike collided with a car in Carbon County.

PARRYVILLE, Pa. -

A motorcyclist had to be airlifted to the hospital after colliding with a car on a Carbon County highway.

Officials say the accident happened around 2 p.m. Sunday on Route 248 at the Parryville exit when a motorcycle and car collided.

There's no word on the motorcyclist's condition.

State Police are investigating the cause of the wreck.
