Firefighter heading home from hospital

A Monroe County firefighter is reaching a major milestone Thursday after a serious health issue.

Rob Kramer is going home after spending nearly two months at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill.

The 39-year-old  was hospitalized after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm on January 15.

Kramer serves with the Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder  in Saylorsburg and as an EMT for Wind Gap Ambulance, in Wind Gap, and Klecknersville EMS in Moore Twp., both in Northampton Co.

Kramer is a father of four and friends say he does not have medical insurance.

Several fundraisers have been held and thousands of dollars have been raised to help the family.
