PARADISE TWP., Pa. -

All five occupants of a car were injured in a crash Monday, and the driver is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police said the 34-year-old female driver was traveling south on Route 191 in Paradise Township, Monroe County, when her car crossed over the northbound lane and went off the west side of the road.

The front passenger side of the car hit a tree, then rolled onto its side.

The front seat passenger, a 52-year-old man, was severely injured and flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital near Allentown.

Police said the driver displayed signs of being under the influence of alcohol.

The three passengers in the back -- a seven-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl -- were also injured.

The children and the driver were taken to Pocono Medical Center for treatment.
