Drive-by shooting reported in Stroudsburg

STROUDSBURG, Pa. -

A drive-by shooter fired on a Stroudsburg apartment twice Sunday night.

A passenger in a Jeep going west on Main Street fired a gun at a second-floor apartment in the 2000 block of Main before 10 p.m. Sunday, according to Stroud Area Regional police.

Police said the Jeep then turned around, returned and several more rounds were fired at the same apartment.

Eight people were in the residence when the drive-by shooting occurred, but no one was hit. Police said three rounds struck the building.

The Jeep was described asĀ  a white Grand Cherokee, 1990s model, with black molding on the lower half of the body.

The passenger who did the shooting was described as having a large build and wearing a gray hoodie.
