A Monroe County woman, whose blood alcohol level was nearly 4 times the legal limit, was arrested for DUI last month. A 7-yr-old was in the car at the time, police said.
Pocono Mountain Regional Police were alerted to a possible intoxicated driver traveling east on Route 940 around 2 p.m. Dec. 22. The car pulled into a restaurant parking lot in the 3200 block of Rt. 940 in Mount Pocono.
When they arrived at the scene, police said they found the driver -- 48-year-old Lisa Hobart of Pocono Summit-- passed out and slumped in her seat.
Police administered field sobriety tests on Hobart, which she failed, and they arrested her on DUI charges.
Her blood alcohol level was 0.29 percent, police said, which is nearly 4 times over the legal limit.
A 7-year-old child was found inside the car, and was released to the father.
