TOBYHANNA, Pa. -

When police in Monroe County pulled over a car for a traffic violation, they didn't realize they'd found a cache of drugs.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police pulled over the car around 12:10 a.m. Saturday on Rt. 940 in Tobyhanna Twp.

During a search of the car, a narcotics K-9 unit found a duffle bag on the floor of the car.

The bag contained around 100 bags of  heroin, 150 ecstasy pills and powder cocaine, police said. The drugs were packaged and wrapped in fabric softener sheets to conceal the odor.

The drugs have a street value of $8,000.

Police arrested 20-year-old Renier Gil of New York. He's charged with possession with intent to deliver and other related charges.
