Meth lab bust in Monroe County

LEHIGHTON, Pa. -

State Police in Lehighton said a DUI arrest led to the discovery of a meth lab inside a home in Monroe County.

Police said they stopped Bryan Hildenbrant, 37, of Kunkletown Friday night in Lehighton borough for an inoperable headlight and taillight.  During the traffic stop, police determined Hildenbrant was under the influence of a controlled substance.

Police said information was also gathered that led to the execution of a search warrant at Hildenbrant's home on West Sherwood Drive in Robinhood Lakes in Polk Township, Monroe County.

The search warrant led police to charge Hildenbrant with several charges including possession of a controlled substance, manufacturing a controlled substance and more.

Hildenbrant is locked up in the Monroe County Prison.
