Plane and crew safe after emergency landing
MACUNGIE, Pa. -

A Pilot and his student trainee are okay after their plane made an emergency landing in a field in Macungie.

The airplane had an engine failure and made a landing with no engine power in the field.

Fortunately, there were no injuries nor damages to people, aircraft and field.

The airplane was on a training flight out of Queen City Municipal Airport on Saturday Jan. 4.

The plane landed in between two sets of power lines and missed a housing development and a school.

It is unclear at this time who was at the controls at the time of the incident.
