EASTON, Pa. -

Three men were arrested for robbing a man at a convenience store, and one of the suspects was found with drugs hidden in his rectum, officials said.

Justin M. Phipps, Kasim K. Ramsey and Anthony Moore assaulted Luis Rodriguez in the Supreme Mart, 2 South 13th St., Easton, around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, and took $480 and a $250 Samsung Galaxy S2 cell from him, officials said.

A witness saw the trio take off in a black Ford Focus with a Hello Kitty front license plate, and the car was stopped by police in Wilson borough a short time later, officials said.

When the men were searched, police located a plastic baggie hidden in Phipps' rectum containing two pills, each one a combination of acetaminophen and oxycodone, officials said. Phipps also had $25 in cash, they added.

Ramsey was found with a small amount of marijuana and $856 in cash, while Moore was found with $218 on cash, officials said.

The men were identified as the robbers by police through store surveillance video, officials noted.

Phipps, 26, of 679 Northampton St., Easton, was arraigned on charges of felony robbery, theft and drug possession, while Ramsey, 23, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with felony robbery, theft, receiving stolen property and drug possession and Moore, also 23 and also of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with theft and receiving stolen property, according to court documents.

Phipps' bail was set at $75,000; Ramsey's at $250,000 and Moore's at $200,000, and all three were committed to the Northampton County Prison, court papers show.

The three men will all have a preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. Aug. 29.
