Nine men busted on prostitution charge
Nine men, ranging in age from 27 to 58, were charged with patronizing a prostitute earlier this month in Comfort Inn Motel in Bethlehem Township.
Raphaella Mompoint, a 24-year-old woman who told police she was homeless, was charged with promoting prostitution and committed to Northampton County Prison.
Township police conducted an operation on July 12 "to identify and prosecute those persons who would patronize prostitutes" at the motel, which is at 3191 Highfield Drive.

Steven Holbrook Hill, 48, of Hillsdale, N.J.;
Lavar Houston Landers, 36, of Bethlehem;
John P. Wylie, 54, of Schnecksville;
Jayson Howard Laws, 37, of Allentown;
Andrew Dallas Roth, 27, of Danielsville;
Edward Reynodls, 58, of Tobyhanna;
Shaun Jesse Winniger, 30, of Palmerton.
Mompoint was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Joseph Barner before being jailed in lieu of $2,500 bail. The other suspects will be sent a summons.
Assisting in the operation were the Northampton County Sheriff's Department as well as officers from several other local law enforcement agencies.
