CLINTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

A joint undercover drug investigation led to the arrest of three people in Clinton Township Thursday.

Justin M. Rattigan, 31, of Flemington was charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin, eluding, and resisting arrest.

Megan Roth, 23, of Flemington, and Michael Rasweiler, 31, of Raleigh, N.C., were charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin.

The woman also was charged with being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance.

On Thursday, law enforcement officials interrupted a drug transaction that was to take place in a condominium complex in Clinton Township.

Roth and Rasweiler were placed under arrest, but Rattigan fled on foot. He was  captured at a Clinton Township service station following a manhunt.

Participating in that manhunt were detectives from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office, Clinton Township Police Department, Readington Township Police Department K-9 Unit and New Jersey State Police.

Bail was set at $50,000 for Rattigan and $25,000 for Rasweiler by Judge Eric Perkins.

Both men were committed to the Hunterdon County Jail in lieu of bail and are awaiting a first court appearance.

Roth was released on her own recognizance.
