Baum School Summer Camp

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

It's all about art for kids at one summer camp.

The Baum School of Art in Allentown is offering unique one and two week day camps.

The camps start out for ages 5 and 6 with Art Adventures, where children start with basic drawing, painting, sculpture and other skills. They also focus on using your imagination and expanding your vocabulary.

Shannon Fugate, Executive Director for the Baum School of Art, said it's important to begin teaching art at a young age because creativity is important to having an inquisitive mind, a lively imagination, and problem solving skills.

Camps begin to get more specific as the age groups progress up to the Creativity Studios, for ages 13-17. Camps include Jewelry Making & Metalsmithing, Sew Cool, and more.
