A Hunterdon County, N.J.,  man is in jail, charged with stabbing another man after a road rage incident, officials said.

According to county prosecutor Anthony Kearns, David S. Gibson's vehicle may have been cut off by another vehicle at the intersection of Church and Broad streets in Flemington.

"When the two vehicles approached the next intersection at Main Street, Gibson exited his vehicle and approached the vehicle that allegedly cut him off," Kearns said. "Gibson allegedly broke out the driver’s window at which time the victim exited his vehicle and was stabbed, resulting in a minor puncture wound. The victim was treated at Hunterdon Medical Center.”

Police arrested 53-year-old Gibson Tuesday. He's from Raritan Twp. and faces charges of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, possession of a weapon, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.

Gibson was taken to the Hunterdon County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
