HARMONY TWP., N.J. -

A Warren County, N.J., man was killed Thursday when he got caught in a piece of farming equipment.

State police from Washington, N.J., responded to a call around 6 p.m. at a farm near Ridge and Swamp roads in Harmony Twp.

Troopers found Peter Santini III, 50, trapped inside a piece of farm equipment.

Police said Santini had been harvesting corn, and attempted to fix the machine when it was on. Somehow Santini got pulled into the machine and became trapped, police said.

Santini was pronounced dead at the scene.
