Due to the high demand for water and ice prior to the landfall of Hurricane Sandy, water and ice supplies are now extremely limited. Therefore, this offer is contingent on availability of these items at your local Redner's store. Met-Ed officials said there is a possibility the offer may not be able to be fulfilled due to high demand.
PPL Electric Utilities has made arrangements with a number of stores to provide free ice and water to customers without power.
You may receive up to three 10-pound bags of ice and three gallons of water daily. Just identify yourself as a PPL Electric Utilities customer at the time of purchase. For a complete list of vendors, click here.
Because of the magnitude of the storm, the list may change frequently as supplies vary, depending on when you visit the store and when vendors receive more supplies. PPL asks that you please be considerate of others in need when purchasing supplies.
