If you haven't picked your pumpkins yet, there's still time!
Many local pumpkin patches, like Grim's Greenhouse and Farm Market in Breinigsville, Lehigh County, say their crop is good this year.
"Over five acres of pumpkins for you to choose the right pumpkin for carving or whatever you chose to do with it. Then we also have a lot of pre-picked pumpkins, squash, gourds, and all that," explained Josh Grim, owner of Grim's Greenhouse.
Grim's even has pink pumpkins, that are denser than regular carving pumpkins, called Rascals. Grim's will donate $1 from the sale of each Rascal pumpkin to support breast cancer research.
Grim's Greenhouse, at 9941 Schantz Road, is a family tradition for many people in the area.
Known for its corn maze, this year's five-acre edition features the shape of an apple, plus the year 2012. There are clues in the maze that lead you to the next clue, and eventually, safely out of the maze. On Fridays and Saturdays there's a flashlight maze.
Other new features include hayrides, and a full kitchen- with everything from sausages to apple pie to pumpkin donuts!
Grim's is open for apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides and the corn maze Sun-Thurs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Fri-Sat. from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
