Tuesday is Dairy Day at the Reading Fair. Farmers and 4-H kids have been up since 4:00 in the morning getting their cows ready for the Dairy Show.
The dairy cows will be judged on their udders, body structure, and how feminine they look.
These bovine ladies have to go through quite a lot of primping to get ready for the show.
Amber Hallowell, who has a few cows competing in the dairy show, explains, "It's almost like a person getting ready to take their picture. They get their hair done, their toe nails or their hooves done. It's almost like a little beauty pageant for an animals."
Tuesday is also Senior Day. Admission is only $5 for anyone over 65.
Wednesday is Kids Day with discounted admission for children 4 to 18.
The 158th annual Reading Fair continues through Saturday.
