Woman killed in Monroe Co. crash

JACKSON TWP., Pa. -

A 25-year-old New York woman was killed and six others injured when a minivan crashed into a tree in the Poconos.

It happened just before 10 a.m. Sunday on Route 715 at Mountain Road in Jackson Twp., Monroe County.

Police said the driver, 53-year-old Guiying Hou of Tannersville, lost control of the minivan and hit a tree.

According to police, a passenger in the minivan --25-year-old Bo Wang of Flushing, New York, -- was killed in the accident.

Six others in the vehicle were injured.
