Boston works to recover

BOSTON -

Another beautiful morning in Boston can't erase what was a very ugly scene just a few days ago.

Boylston Street in the city's Backbay area is still closed Wednesday. Store fronts are dark and the only people allowed on it are investigators and police.

People, however, are still going to pay tribute to those who either died or were injured in Monday's explosion. Flowers, flags and messages of hope can be seen draped on or near the barricades.

Police can also be seen throughout the area. Swat, K9 units and patrol officers could be seen Tuesday and even into Wednesday morning.

The city, however, said the increased police presence is for the public's peace of mind as an immediate threat is not suspected.
