Movie crew scouts Bethlehem
Bethlehem got a big taste of Hollywood this weekend.
A production team was in town Saturday scouting the "Christmas City" for an upcoming movie.
69 News caught up with actor Corbin Bernsen and a team of producers as they toured Liberty High School.
They're trying to find locations for their movie dubbed "Bethlehem."
Bernsen currently stars in the TV series "Psych" and is known for his work on "L.A. Law" and the hit movie "Major League."
Bernsen will play the leading role in "Bethlehem" and is also producing the film.
"We try to find places that are friendly, but also have historic value to the town, to the community, and that way we can work it into the script," Bernsen said.
The movie will focus on the Liberty High School Hurricanes football team.
The film is expected to be released in the fall of next year.
