A second person has been charged in a shooting that happened outside a Poconos motel.
Police say Michelle Walden, 42, of Portland, has been charged with conspiracy to commit criminal homicide and related charges.
Investigators say Walden conspired with Shicon Jordan, who police say shot at a woman outside the Econo Lodge in Stroudsburg in March.
According to court paperwork, the victim was in a car outside the motel when Jordan pulled up next to her vehicle.
Police say Jordan pointed a handgun into the victim's vehicle and said "I bet you never thought you'd see me again. You're the one that put me in jail."
Investigators say the victim had previously filed a complaint against Jordan, claiming he had used her car without her permission.
The victim told police Jordan opened fire, and she closed her eyes and started screaming. Her car and the motel were hit, but the woman was not hurt.
Police say surveillance video shows Jordan firing the gun into the victim's car.
He was later arrested in Essex County, New Jersey, and he will be extradited back to Monore County on Wednesday.
Investigators say Walden is a registered owner of three handguns. Jordan cannot puchase a handgun due to his criminal record. They also say say the van that Jordan was driving at the time of the shooting is registered to Walden.
Walden claims that Jordan was wrongly arrested.
She says she was driving her van and holding her gun when she was stopped in front of the motel in Stroudsburg.
Walden says a man reached into the vehicle and grabbed her necklace. She claims she panicked, and the gun went off.
Police say Jordan is considered a "person of interest" in connection with another shooting last month, outside a Super 8 in East Stroudsburg. No one was hurt in that incident.
