Men posing as roofing contractors rob Lehigh Twp. woman, police say

LEHIGH TWP., Pa. -

Police in Northampton County are looking for a couple of scam artists who robbed a woman Tuesday afternoon.

The duo was working together, according to police. One man distracted the homeowner by posing as a roofing contractor, and the other man burglarized the house.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. in Lehigh Township.

The man who distracted the woman is described as a white male, around 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a tan colored jacket and black pants.

The suspect left in a red four-door Dodge Ram, possibly 2-wheel drive model, with a loud after market exhaust system.
