Police searching for suspects after Hatfield home invasion

HATFIELD TWP., Pa. -

Police in Montgomery County are looking for several people who tied up a man in his house, then stole guns and his SUV.

Hatfield Township police said a man was getting out of a vehicle in his driveway around 6:20 a.m. Thursday when several people approached him at gunpoint.

They tied him up in his house in the 1400 block of Leas Way, beat him, and then stole numerous personal items from the house, including guns, police said.

The robbers left in the victim's silver 2003 BMW 525i station wagon with Pennsylvania license plates JGN-5269.

The victim was taken to Lansdale Hospital for treatment of facial and head lacerations.

The robbers should be considered armed and dangerous, said police, who could provide no description.
