Man takes car for test drive, doesn't come back, police say

UPPER TULPEHOCKEN TWP, Pa. -

State police are investigating a weekend vehicle theft in Upper Tulpehocken Township.

Police said a man only known by the name "Scott" was making an electronic repair to the vehicle on North Northkill Road on Saturday afternoon. At about 2:30 p.m., after completing the repair, "Scott" took the vehicle for a test drive, according to police. Officials say "Scott" never returned.

"Scott", according to a police news release, was "vaguely known by the victim".

The stolen vehicle is described as a 2001 Chevrolet Impala, silver and grey in color. "Scott" is described as in his early 40s, 6'0" tall, thin build, with short hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
