Man swipes $600 worth of electronics from Best Buy, police say

BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. -

Police are on the lookout for a man who made off with hundreds of dollars worth of electronics from a store in Northampton County.

The theft happened around 11:15 a.m. on Mon., May 13, when police said the man picked up $600 worth of electronics inside the Best Buy store in Bethlehem Township and ran off, police said.

Store employees tried to stop the man, but he got into a vehicle, possibly an older white VW GTI, and drove off, police said.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Northampton County Dispatch at 610-759-2200 and ask for the Bethlehem Township Police Department.
