Man shot in eye in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Allentown police are trying to track down the person responsible for shooting a 25-year-old man in they eye.

Police said the shooting happened around 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Allen Street.

Ikeem Felder, who has no known address, was walking on the street when he recognized and began to approach a female he knew from high school. As Felder approached, her, an unknown male suddenly appeared and shot Felder in the right eye with a pellet gun, according to police.

Police said Felder did not report the crime until about three hours later, when he taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest by EMS. There's no word on his condition at this time.

The shooter is described as a Hispanic male with long hair and cross tattoo on his right cheek. He was wearing a red and black jacket.
