NORTHAMPTON, Pa. -

A man arrested for DUI two months ago is in more hot water after police discovered he was driving a stolen pickup, officials said.

Brian A. Miller Jr. was driving a 2010 black Ford F150 owned by Francis McGaughran Jr., 1337 Newport Ave., Northampton, Northampton Co.,when he was busted for DUI at 1:35 a.m. March 23, officials said.

About 12 hours after Miller was arrested, McGaughran filed a report with police that his pickup had been stolen from in front of his home and that he had accidentally left the keys inside the vehicle, officials said.

After being shown a photo of Miller on Monday, McGaughran told police that he did not give Miller permission to use his pickup, officials said.

Miller was arraigned Wednesday night on charges of theft, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $40,000 bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. May 21.
