It's June and your teenager has been on that same spot on the couch since the last day of school.
It's probably too late for them to get a summer job, right?
Wrong! The Internet can be a great tool to help your teen find that summer job.
Simply open a search engine and type in your city and state and teen employment.
If they're applying online, they should create a resume.
Include their name, but for safety reasons do not put their address or phone number. Instead -- create an e-mail address for employers to contact them.
Educators say you may also want to encourage your teenager to volunteer or even get an internship.
Neither pays but both look good on a resume and could be great experiences.
