Youell's Oyster House plans
ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Plans to reopen Youell's Oyster House, the Allentown-based seafood restaurant destroyed by fire a year ago, are on hold...for now.

Managers of the restaurant  have been forced to move back the planned reopening due to extreme weather conditions.

Re-opening is now scheduled for sometime after the first week of February.

A fire consumed the old restaurant, but management promises the old restaurant will be preserved in the new one.

However, pleasant surprises await customers when the restaurant reopens.

Carefully researched improvements will be reflected in the new place, managers said, and they are sure customers will be pleased with the new look.
