Woman robbed at gunpoint in Allentown

Police in Allentown are asking for your help in tracking down the gunmen who robbed a woman on a city street.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Allentown police say they are on the hunt for two men who robbed a woman at gunpoint late Saturday night.

It happened around 11:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Turner Street. Police the suspects -- described as dark Hispanic or black in their late teens or early 20s -- had followed the 22-year-old woman after she left the 7-11 in the 1300 block of Hanover Avenue.

Police say the suspects, who were both wearing hoodies, ordered the woman to drop her purse after pointing the gun at her.

The purse was found a short time later with cash and personal items missing.

Police say the woman was uninjured.
