EASTON, Pa. -

A woman was robbed by two men after her car got stuck in the snow Monday morning in Easton.

Police report the unidentified 48-year-old female was driving west on the 400 block of Pine Street when she slid back down the hill and got stuck shortly after 9 a.m.

She was approached by two white males in their early 20s who asked if they could help her get unstuck.

The woman agreed. But when she got out of her vehicle, one of the men punched her in the face and tried to steal her purse.

She did not give up the purse, but the male grabbed a bank envelope that was partially sticking out of it and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Easton police identified one suspect as 5-feet-4-inches tall, with blonde hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark-colored, hooded sweat shirt.

Police said the other male was 5-feet-8-inches tall. He also was wearing blue jeans and a dark-colored, hooded sweat shirt, as well as a tan or cream colored sky type hat.

Police said both men had their hoods up during the robbery.

Anyone with information about the suspects should call Easton police at 610-250-6661.
