here were some tense moments on the road after a woman was trapped inside her car which barreled into a school bus.

PALMER TWP., Pa. -

There were tense moments in Northampton County, when a woman was trapped inside her car after it barreled into a school bus.

The accident happened at around 4:00 Thursday afternoon at the intersection of William Penn Highway and Edamy Street in Palmer Township.

Two children and two adults were aboard the bus at the time.

According to police, the car rear-ended the school bus, which had stopped for possible sun glare.

The car was wedged under the bus, and crews scrambled to free the driver.

The driver of the car and a child on the bus were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

They're expected to be okay.
