The Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners moved a handful of issues during Tuesday night's workshop meeting to next week's regular board meeting.
The legislative body advanced an ordinance authorizing the acceptance of proposals for the ground water monitoring program for the Novak Sanitary Landfill through to next Monday's meeting, in addition to forwarding a resolution conditionally approving a minor subdivision/lot consolidation plan of 3003 and 3007 Third Street.
Commissioners also sent a motion approving the appointment of Jason Haskey as a member of the Whitehall Township Fire Police.
During the meeting President Linda Snyder asked Mayor Edward Hozza Jr. to look into a school bus stop located at Third and Leisenring streets in the township.
Snyder said that some bus drivers are "having major problems" with the location of the stop.
The regular Whitehall Township board of commissioners meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on September 8th.
