Terrence Horton, Tasha Hornbaker sold drugs from car with toddler in back seat, police say

A man and a woman were caught selling drugs from a car with the woman's 2-year-old child in the back seat, officials said.
Terrence L. Horton and Tasha L. Hornbaker were arrested at 102 Easton Rd., Nazareth, at 5:25 p.m. Monday, after a police made a controlled buy of heroin, officials said.
Horton was seen selling 20 bags of heroin to a man from a gray Pontiac sedan, which had Hornbaker's 2-year-old girl strapped into a child safety seat behind Horton, officials said.
Police took into custody Horton, Hornbaker, Casey Wessner and Brittany Wheeler after the drug buy was made with $300 of marked money, officials said.
Police found most of the marked money between the front passenger seat and the center console, along with a $20 bill in Horton's wallet and another $20 bill in Hornbaker's hand, officials said.
Police found five packets of heroin and seven bags of marijuana on Horton, as well as another $597 in his wallet, officials added.
Horton, 46, who lives at the Safe Harbor homeless shelter in Easton, and Hornbaker, 31, of 30 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, Warren Co., N.J., were arraigned on charges of engaging in prohibited acts, criminal conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, and conspiracy to possess drug paraphernalia, according to court documents.
Horton was also charged with drug possession, court papers show.
Horton's bail was set at $25,000 and Hornbaker's at $10,000, and both were committed to the Northampton County Prison, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is set for Horton at 9 a.m. July 10 and for Hornbaker at 9:30 a.m. July 10.
