Thirty-six-year-old Randal Stoneback has been arrested for attacking and seriously injuring his brother with a metal stick ball bat.
Lower Saucon Township police responded to an assault report at 12:29 p.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Alpine Drive.
Randal Stoneback told police he struck his brother Kerry Stoneback with the bat "over an ongoing dispute."
Witnesses and the victim told police that Randal used the bat to break the windshield of Kerry's Chevrolet truck. They said Randal also bent the truck's antenna and broke a side window at the front door of the house.
When Kerry came to the door, Randal struck him on the top of the head and the back of the neck with the bat, according to police.
Randal, who resides at 2537 Alpine Drive, was charged with aggravated assault, harassment and criminal mischief for the property damage.
Bail was set at $50,000.
A preliminary hearing was set for 11 a.m. Aug. 29 before Magisterial District Judge David Tidd.
