Word to the wise: If you're called to pick up a family member who's been arrested for DUI, might be best if you're sober.
That's the lesson a New Jersey woman learned this weekend.
Easton police said they pulled over a vehicle around 8 p.m. Friday when it didn't stop at a stop light at Northampton Street and Larry Holmes Drive.
The driver, Bethany Donst, 30, of Belvidere, Warren Co., N.J., was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Donst called her sister to pick up her car.
Erin Donst, 32, of Easton, arrived driving her own car, and she too was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Both women were taken to the DUI center for processing and each will be issued a summons for DUI.
