Police search for man who robbed Bethlehem Township WalMart at gunpoint

BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. -

Police are searching for a man who robbed a WalMart at gunpoint in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County.

Police said it happened around 10 p.m. Saturday at the WalMart in the 3900 block of Nazareth Pike.

The suspect used a dark-colored handgun to hold up cashiers and steal an unspecified amount of cash, police said. No one was injured during the robbery.

The man was last seen driving away alone in a black Kia Optima.

The suspect is described as a light skinned male, possibly in his 30s, medium build, approximately 6’ to 6’ 4” tall, wearing what appeared to be a fake dark colored dread-lock wig and fake dark colored beard and mustache as a disguise. The suspect is also described as having a dark colored hood over his head, and wearing a red winter jacket, and dark pants.
