Police investigate attempted robbery of Wilson CVS

WILSON, Pa. -

An attempted robbery occurred late Monday morning in the CVS  in Wilson.

Wilson police report that a black male was confronted by an employee when he attempted to steal items from the store about 11 a.m.

The male kept saying he had a knife, although he never displayed a weapon.  He pushed his way out of the store and was last seen on foot, heading toward Easton.

The store is at 1520 Northampton St. in the borough.

The suspect was described as a six-foot-tall black male with a mustache. He was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt with a blue jacket over it and a white beanie.
