Police: Debra Gerena set fire to home

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

A woman set fire to her apartment in Northampton County because her husband was not intimate with her for years, police said.

Debra Gerena has been charged with arson for allegedly starting a fire at her apartment in the 300 block of East Broad Street in Bethlehem.

Gerena told police she set fire to her home because her ex-husband had not been intimate with her in seven years.

In addition to arson, Gerena has also been charged with risking catastrophe and reckless endangerment.
