A Pittsburgh man is facing drug charges after police found 49 packets of heroin in his book bag.
Allentown police said 31-year-old Eshia Horace Ifill was the subject of a drug investigation and was found in the back seat of a car stopped for a traffic violation at 10th and Chew streets on Wednesday.
Police found a blue ecstasy pill, a cell phone and $75 in cash in Ifill's pocket. Next to him in the backseat, a search turned up a black book bag, which contained 49 packets of heroin, yellow wax papers, a clear bag of marijuana, three cellphones and an iPad, polices aid.
Ifill was charged with possession with intent to deliver, simple possession and related charges.
A preliminary hearing has been set for July 2.
