On Aug. 23 police recovered a bag with 50 pieces of the stolen jewelry from Todd Conover, who told police six days later that he bought the jewelry in his home in the 700 block of Northampton St., Easton, from a woman he identified as Piorko, officials said.

Piorko, 52, was arraigned early Friday morning on a charge of receiving stolen property and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $5,000 bail, according to court documents.
