Dutch Springs
LOWER NAZARETH TWP., Pa. -

The body of a diver who was unaccounted for at a local water park has been found, officials said. It's the second drowning in a month.

The diver went missing at Dutch Springs in Lower Nazareth Twp., Northampton Co., around 11:30 p.m. Saturday after beginning to dive at 8:30 p.m., said Zach Lysek, the Northampton County coroner.

The park, located at 4733 Hanoverville Rd., is a 50-acre lake with depths up to 100 feet and is popular with scuba divers.

The diver was identified as Izydor Poplawski, 46, of Shelton, Conn. His body was recovered around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

Lysek said Poplawski died of accidental drowning.

A scuba diver from New Jersey died at Dutch Springs last month.
