WILLIAMS TWP., Pa. -

It was sheer terror for a man who managed to crawl out of a second floor window to escape a house fire that has left a family homeless.

A fire broke out on Industrial Road in Williams Twp., Northampton Co., just before 5 a.m. Thursday.

The family was home at the time but, fortunately, everyone got out safely.

One man had to crawl through a window on the second floor and jump onto the first floor roof to get out.

Officials say the fire --which does not appear to be suspicious -- is still under investigation.
