Lehigh Valley-opoly to hit store shelves this holiday season

A popular board game will be getting a Lehigh Valley twist.

Lehigh Valley-opoly is set to hit store shelves just in time for the holidays.

The game is modeled after the famous Monopoly game but each of the different places on the game board will represent local companies, Frank Facchiano with the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce said.


There are approximately 30 space on the board.  Twenty-two are game board property deeds, four railroad spots, two utilities spots, two tax spots, and four corner spots.

The game is being created by Scranton-based One Point.  One Point partnered with the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce to create the Lehigh Valley board.

The games will be sold at Giant Food Stores, ArtsQuest and the Sands.
